Welcome to a brand new season of the Achieve Great Things podcast! In Season One, we explored big ideas that would help progressive communicators do their jobs more effectively. In Season Two, we’ll focus on the people who are turning these ideas into action on the front lines of elections, advocacy and philanthropy to create change in 2018 and beyond.

We start this season by recapping some of the big ideas from Season One that communicators should apply to their work this year. Brad Jenkins of Funny or Die reminds us of the vast, and underutilized, power of viral digital media. Michael Breen of the Truman National Security Project talks about earning the “right to be aspirational” by meeting people where they are, acknowledging their fears, and starting conversations on common ground. And Emily Norman of the Global Strategy Group emphasizes lifting up diverse voices that speak authentically to a rising generation of Americans.
