3 Not-So-Small Things I’ve Learned About Humanity After Surviving 2020

It’s been a tough year, but we’ve made it through.

Need I say another word about how 2020 sucks? I suppose not. We’ve all complained enough to understand how we collectively feel about this tumultuous year. And it’s been exceptionally hard for some people.

We’re almost there, though. 2021 is approaching and it poses another set of questions: What will happen? Will the global crisis finally be resolved? Will our lives finally return to normal? No one knows.

Instead of focusing on questions we don’t have the answer to, let’s recount what’s already happened. What have we learned from 2020?

As someone who ponders a lot about what it means to be human, 2020 has brought me to some intriguing realizations about humanity.

Some (or all) of these realizations might have also come to you. They might even be the very thing that got you through the past year — and by the same token, they might be necessary to prepare you for what’s to come.

Let’s start with an obvious one.
