Looking up into the sky
This noon-time day I saw
The branches with the wind did sway
No leaves to adorn her, this tree so tall
But the echo of autumn reminders, the leaves did fall.
So tall and proud, yet waiting in slumber
The greenery deep inside, amid winter’s chill.
The sun shown brightly, lifting my spirits still
