How My Morning Calls to Seniors Became A Self-Healing Ritual
Last fall, during a brief window of stability in my as-of-late unreasonably chaotic life, I joined my synagogue’s Boker Tov committee. “Boker tov,” in Hebrew means “good morning,” and refers to the action the committee members are volunteering to take: a morning phone call to check in with homebound synagogue members.
