#10 Token Economy 2

PX, MP, and DI are the three major components of ASSEMBLE’s Token Economy

ASSEMBLE Protocol
ASSEMBLEPROTOCOL

--

ASSEMBLE protocol is a blockchain-based global point integration platform that exploits ASM utility tokens, whilst establishing a business ecosystem that can integrate, utilize existing points and miles with point providers, consumers and retailers.

In the previous post, we started to explain how ASSEMBLE’s Token Economy is an ecosystem in the ASSEMBLE Protocol. In fact, there are two core components to ASSEMBLE’s Token Economy. Today, we will be discussing the features of the two components of ASSEMBLE’s ecosystem. Let’s take a look at the Market Place and Data Infrastructure!

Point Usage

Market Place

The MP (Market Place) is a place where transactions are carried out. Users can become sellers and sell their goods and services at the MP. They will need to pay a small portion of their profits as sales commission. On the other hand, users that are ordinary consumers can purchase various goods and services from sellers at a relatively good price. They can also receive additional rewards by leaving reviews about their post-purchase experience or engaging with the community on the platform.

MP Rating System

The MP Rating System has been established in order to grant extra discounts to users. The additional discounts or payback features are determined in accordance with the user’s MP rating. Hence, depending on the rating, consumers can enjoy a different range of benefits and will be provided with additional exclusive promotions.

Although the MP rating system currently operates precisely as it is reflected in the table, the scoring system itself is subject to change. The further enhancement of the platform and its revitalization may impact the MP rating system.

Ad Placement DI (Data Infrastructure)

As it has already been explained in the previous post, the ASSEMBLE Platform is equipped with a data infrastructure (DI) feature. This feature accumulates different payment datasets associated with the consumers’ purchasing patterns. The collected data is further stored on the block and used for ad placement purposes. Hence, advertisers can process the collected datasets and find potential advertising targets through the ASSEMBLE Platform’s DI and place their ads accordingly. This is where advertisers pay for their ads directly to the ASSEMBLE Platform.

By default, consumers will initially be asked for consent to be shown the advertisements. One interesting fact is that if consumers get shown advertisements, they will receive rewards. The advertisers can enjoy perks such as saving money and increasing customer satisfaction. These features are the direct result of the specific structure of the ASSEMBLE platform, where intermediation is not needed in order to run advertising campaigns.

The following table illustrates different marketing tools through which advertisements can be placed in the ASSEMBLE Platform. Details are subject to change and other types may be added depending on the size of data infrastructure.
