Assembly of Desire from the perspective of Avtonomi Akadimia

Happy and honored to participate in the Assembly of Desire. Most grateful for the invitation of the Desire Machine Collective for inviting me to participate in this highly extravagant initiative! We, artists, take the responsibility for organizing an art world we need. We were “colonized” for more than 2200 years, since Plato has excluded art from the social domain. It is my very task and desire to contribute to the Assembly of Desire because the struggle of art for the emancipation from the subsystemic strictures is interentangled with the “decolinization”: as long as it is conducted by us, the protagonists of this change. We celebrate the end of the imposed geographies by creating a transindigenous coalition of peripheric art contexts. And what will happen then? Is it dangerous? Yes. We are in the seccession war between art and market, my friends. You better decide to be with us.
