Since integrated payments have made their way to the Messenger platform, Facebook Payments has enabled people to purchase an item without leaving the Messenger experience. Today, we are proud to announce that you can now purchase and send flowers to your loved ones using Facebook Payment.

What’s new

  • Facebook Payment: Only in the US, you can now purchase flowers using the credit card on file with Messenger. If you don’t already have a credit card on file at the time of the purchase, simply click on the buy button then on Payment Method to add a credit card to your account.
  • Ability to change your mind (we call it Random Access Navigation): At checkout, you can change your mind about the recipient, delivery address, note or arrangements by selecting “Something is off.” You will then be able to change individual parameters without having to start over.
  • Recipient address book: Sending flowers to the same person? You can manage all your recipients attached to your account. When you send flowers for the first time, the experience will ask you to add a new recipient. This recipient will now be associated to your account. You can also delete a recipient by tapping on “Remove This.”
  • Billing address management: You can now manage the billing address the same way you manage the recipient address book.

We believe this is the first step to changing how commerce works on mobile. The simple fact that you don’t have to insert your credit card, login, and remember past addresses makes for the most seamless commerce experience on mobile.
