Astrace is Bringing the World of Astrology to Lens Protocol

Astrace, led by CEO and Founder Maren Altman, unleashes a successful whitelist after announcing plans for astrological social app development.

Astrace Founder and CEO Maren Altman is popularized as a phenomenon in web3, an astrologer who has risen to fame predicting trading calls on the crypto market using astrology. Maren’s popularity has reached over 1.4million Tiktok followers and over 240k followers on Twitter, as well as over 150k on Instagram and 200k on Youtube. Maren is evolving her bespoke work as an astrology influencer by building Astrace, a series of astrological applications that tap into DeFi and the growing web3 social ecosystem.

Astrace’s recent news has been the development of social applications. The team is building a suite of on-chain astrological social apps including astrological profiles, on-chain daily horoscopes, a dating app, and an astrocartography (travel) application.

Astrace allows users to own their own astrological data, minted as Soulbound NFTs representing an individual’s natal chart, storing astrological metadata generated from a person’s date, time, and location of birth. The Astrace team considers individual astrology to be the perfect use case for the application of Soulbound NFTs (non-transferable NFTs). What better way to mint your “soul” on-chain than to mint your hyper-personalized natal chart, representing your past, present, and future, down to the exact second of time, date, and location of birth?

The first MVP of Astrace’s social apps will use soulbound NFTs to generate personalized astrological profiles on Lens, allowing users to view and showcase their Astraits (astrological character traits), along with the ability to find and follow other users’ astrological profiles. Version two of Astrace will launch a highly anticipated dating application, allowing users to match several compatibilities based on astrology. Then, as a personal favorite of Maren’s, the project will launch an astrocartography travel application, which takes highly specific natal chart details to allow users to view recommendations on where to travel, live, do business, fall in love, and more.

After the recent Lens announcement, Astrace gained heavy attention and traction, witnessing wildfire growth in the community after launching their whitelist, gaining over 20,000 signups overnight.

The Astrace team commemorated the news by launching a unique collection on Lens, introducing astrology and Astrace to the Lens community. On December 2, the Astrace team dropped unique astrological artwork as NFTs for 12 days, dedicated to each of the 12 signs. The collection wrapped up as a major success. Astrace rose to the second-most traded account on Lens after the collection dropped.

By building web3 social apps, Astrace aims to bring a new generation to web3, as well as introduce new opportunities for how astrology is consumed and engaged, allowing individuals to not only socialize their astrology, but to own their astrological data and use it to make more informed decisions about their future. This is only the beginning for Astrace. More growth is incoming with their vault MVP launching soon as well.
