Game Starter Kit: All Things Maps

If you’re in the process of building out an epic world or writing a campaign, Astral makes it easy to create awesome maps! Rather than focusing on a specific game or genre this week, we’re going to share some key resources specifically for cartography in Astral.

Bonus: You can also export maps you create in Astral to print or use around the gaming table!

Let’s start with the basics. Creating maps and settings is as simple as dragging an asset from the sidebar and placing it anywhere you’d like on your map. Here’s a short video that demonstrates how to do this:

If you’re not ready to create something from scratch, this Map Pack has some basic maps featuring different settings — dungeon, forest, and desert, among others — that you can use as a base, and put your own spin on it with additional assets.
