F8 Meetup in Dubai — What Happened And What We Got Up To!

There was a lot of buzz around what Facebook HQ would be unveiling to starry eyed developers in the annual F8 Conference and they definitely did not disappoint.

An eccentric crowd of over 150 people came down to our space to discuss possibilities, share opinions, meet likeminded people and to watch the live keynote of Mark Zuckerberg so on behalf of all the coders and tech enthusiasts who came for the event, we’d like to give a massive thanks to the Facebook team for reaching out and co-hosting a public streaming with us!

So what did we find particularly interesting from the F8 Here are some:

1. Facebook unveiled that it is working on a project to create a brain-computer interface that let’s you type with your thoughts and hear with your skin.
2. There will be much more happening in the Augmented Reality space such as themed filters for live events and even cooler, digital notes that readers can view through their smartphone camera!
3. Facebook Messenger chat bots will now be easier to find with a dedicated “discovery” tab.
