Asure founders talk with Patrick Ayota, Deputy Managing Director of the National Social Security Fund Uganda

It was the last day for the Asure founders in Kampala.

Thanks to our friend Clare, we had the chance to meet Patrick Ayota, Deputy Managing Director of the National Social Security Fund of Uganda(@nssfug) to talk about our approach to improve social security systems with the help of the Blockchain technology.

We visited the NSSF’s impressive building, which is also called the Workers House, around noon and went up to the 14th stage for the meeting to introduce Patrick to the ideals and a high-level concept of what Asure is doing. He told us about the challenges the NSSF is facing at the moment, so we could sharpen our picture of pensions in Uganda and figure out how Asure can help with the process optimization.

The next step for us is to work out in more detail how Asure can help with precisely these challenges. We are excited about the opportunity and looking forward to working with NSSF in the future.
