Those who know Frontline Ventures well will know the care we put into building the Frontline team itself. We seek to keep pace with the best entrepreneurs from the US and Europe, so we strive as an organization to learn and evolve at their speed. Our recruitment and selection process reflects that level of impact and responsibility, especially as we know each of our Partners not only make 100+ investment decisions across their career, but represent our brand and values as a firm.

So it is with great pleasure that we welcome Zoë Chambers as a Partner to Frontline today. Zoë will continue to focus on seed investing across Europe from her base in our London office.

They say your reputation precedes you, and that was certainly the case with Zoë. Founders and colleagues shared unprompted how amazing she was; we heard all about the impact she’d had well before meeting. The respect she’d gained confirmed to us that Zoë was a magnet for great founders and a fantastic colleague for the rest of the team.

Prior to joining us, Zoë spent 5 years leading the deeptech investment team for Octopus Ventures. During her time there, she invested in 14 startups, with biases towards climate (OLIO, Unmade) and deeptech (Audiotelligence, Altitude Angel, SLAMcore) alongside broader B2B SaaS (Legl, We Got Pop). 50% of her past investments have been in women-led businesses, and she will continue to over-index on founders who may have been historically overlooked.

European founders have shown the world what they are capable of over the last few years, and Europe’s deeptech and climate startups in particular are going to change the world as we know it. We fully expect Zoë to be alongside those founders as they tackle some of humanity’s biggest challenges through technology.

We’re lucky to welcome Zoë, and we’d love for you to meet her too. If you are an early stage founder who wants to work with one of the best humans in venture, who will always have your back, reach out to zoe@frontline.vc.
