The Year Ahead, 2019
Now we’ve taken some time to reflect on everything we learned and did last year, it’s time to look ahead to 2019! This year we want to focus closely on making Frontdoor become as amazing as it can be, and work to solve even more of your problems around manual work and overall productivity.
Things change often at Frontdoor, so, these early plans aren’t set in stone. This year we plan to share updates like this, so we’ll keep you informed when you can expect to see changes! 🚀
Make it as easy as possible for people to switch to Frontdoor
We know that you are keen to use Frontdoor to better understand, engage with your online clientele in a whole new way, but the prospect of moving over seems like a lot of work.
With help from our Switching Initiatives, we’ll help you avoid all the admin, and make it super simple for you to switch to Frontdoor.
Give more people the option to share/tour your listings 💵
Over the next few months, our goal is to give as many of our customers as possible the option to share/plan open houses with your team effortlessly.
We want to find a faster, more transparent way of collaborating, that allows you to see what’s happening internally into your brokerage as part of your Frontdoor account.
Help you better understand and manage your time 🤓
Another of our New Year’s resolutions is to make some serious improvements to the way we show information about how you spend your time when you work.
It’ll allow everyone to see a timeline of their time spent, instantly understand whether or not they’re on track for every month. We’ll also work to eliminate small but significant annoyances, like making sure Frontdoor remembers the categories you assign the first time you set up “new leads to follow”etc.
Make Frontdoor make sense as the main inbound leads account 💰
As more and more people use Frontdoor for more of their workflow, we also want to make updates to our time spending analysis tools so that they make sense for how to improve and ultimately make Frontdoor the center of your inbound leads.
You’ll be able to set start dates for Leads and breakdowns, so you’d track from the date they’ve entered your CRM, rather than relying on guesswork as to when following up with them.
Build new partnerships 👯
We’ll continue to explore new partnerships, and improve on the tests we did last year. We don’t have any new details to share right now, but we’ll do soon! Stay tuned for updates and progress, as soon as we have them.
Plus, we’ll be working to bring Frontdoor to iOS and Android this year 👆 and making sure new users joining with upgraded accounts are able to use that.
