Witness is now live on Ethereum and BSC

In our continuing efforts to build a more robust and accessible solution stack, we are thrilled to share that Witness is now available for use on Ethereum Mainnet, Ethereum Kovan Testnet, Binance Smart Chain Mainnet and Binance Smart Chain Testnet. We see this integration with Ethereum and BSC as the first step to truly empower an increasingly animated blockchain ecosystem, while also preparing for other additions across our protocol.

Today’s an exciting one for Automata: Witness is now live on multiple blockchains, including Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain! Now, communities can begin to explore the functionality of our privacy-enabled governance solution in full.

What does this mean?

With Witness, users can easily 1) create and submit proposals to their workspaces 2) invite communities to vote and 3) that’s it. What you don’t see: Votes will be sent to our privacy relayer, Geode, and the granularity of results can be adjusted based on the level of privacy selected at the stage of proposal creation.

We’re also pleased to share that Chainhook is ready to use as a preview feature on the Ethereum and BSC Testnets. With this release, users can trigger on-chain execution based on the contract once voting results are in. The team is currently working on adding support for both Ethereum and BSC Mainnets in the upcoming days.

What’s next
