Rather than opening little perforated cardboard doors, we’re asking the retrogaming community to engage with our #cartridgeinapeartree post each day to earn a raffle ticket for the prize draw.
And what’s better, the more days you engage, the more raffle tickets you get!
The holidays are a time for communities and nostalgia, to wheel out the old games, songs, movies and memories that shape generation after generation.
This time of year means different things to everyone and we’re celebrating all of it. So this event is all about encouraging conversation — your bests, worsts, biggests and more.
Each #cartridgeinapeartree post will feature an open-ended question, inviting you to contribute to the day’s festive conversation. Come get involved and really Atarify your December…
How does it work?
It’s easy. Each day, one post from the official @AtariX account on X.com will carry the #cartridgeinapeartree hashtag.
When you see that post, there are TWO things you need to do within 24 hours…
1. Hit the repost button
2. Reply and answer the question in the comments.
Complete BOTH of those requirements and you’ll earn yourself a raffle ticket.
And don’t worry if you miss the start of the event, you can collect raffle entries at any point during the event from December 1 — December 24.
Atari X team will record each day’s entrants on a daily basis, and entry for each day will close 24hrs after a post is published. Therefore you cannot retrospectively enter previous days and any replies after the deadline each day will not be counted. And please note that winners must be following @AtariX on X.com.
For Clarity…
Someone who reposts and replies to 5 days’ posts within 24hrs of each of them being published will earn 5 entries to the final raffle.
Someone who interacts with 20 separate days earns 20 tickets for the raffle.
It literally could not be easier, so follow @AtariX, set those notifications and from Friday, December 1 look out for the prize #cartridgeinapeartree posts.
