Coffee Chats + Tours, Medics Connect with Applicants

Coffee + EMS goes hand-in-hand

Last week, ATCEMS Recruiting kicked off the Medic I-Field & Communications hiring process with the first phase — interviews. While this is a required step of the process, we know it can be intimidating and stressful. This is why we decided to set up local Coffee Chats+Tours of our facilities for our candidates.

Giving our candidates a casual, conversational way of getting to know our department (and our amazing medics!) outside of the hiring process elements, we hosted 5 Meet-A-Medic Coffee Chats+Tours. 29 local and out-of-state candidates took advantage of meeting with our Medic Ambassadors, toured Station 33 and CTECC (where our Communications Medics are stationed), and shared 57 cups of coffee (just kidding, we made that part up).

Thanks to our incredible Ambassadors (K.Pailes, M.Sasser, C.Fairbrother, E.Sanchez, and S.Xie) for hosting our candidates — we appreciate you sharing your stories and showing why #ATCEMS is the best!
