We’re Hiring: Paramedics Apply!
ATCEMS is accepting applications through June 19th for our Medic I-Field Modified hiring process. This current process is open to paramedics only. Current paramedics or students expected to have their paramedic certification on or before June 19th, are encouraged to submit applications for employment.
What’s different about this hiring process?
Applicants MUST be paramedics by the application deadline (June 19th).
1 year of clinical, pre-hospital, or EMS experience is not required.
Candidates offered employment will be paid at a higher pay rate (Grade B).
Application Tips:
Submit your application early! Tie-breakers are done based on application timestamp. The sooner you apply, the better.
Gather your required documents now. Post-submission, Recruiting will review your application and email your confirmation of eligibility, requesting documents. Grab your current medic certification, certified driving records from each state you’ve held a driver license, and your DD-214 if you’ve served in the military. More details will be sent once your application is received and processed.
Complete your application in its entirety. Be sure to list ALL employment (even volunteer first responder) from the last 10 years, list accurate dates, and honest reasons for leaving previous employers.
Read instructions on the application and in confirmation emails from Recruiting carefully. Missing an important deadline or leaving pertinent information off your application may be grounds for disqualification.
