The ATCP Spark team
The ATCP Spark Team. A small group for now, but we’ll add more people soon

If you happen to chance about this publication you’re probably wondering who we are, what this is all about and why this might be of interest to you. So to put it plainly — we are designers, software engineers working for Accenture Technology in the Philippines. This publication is a space we’ve setup so that we can share to the community the things we’ve learned during the course of our work. We call this group of contributors the “ATCP Spark Team”. There’s no real meaning or message behind the name, just something we call ourselves.

Now what ATCP stands for probably does need some explanation. ATCP stands for Advanced Technology Center in Philippines — and it’s what we call Accenture’s workforce in the Philippines that delivers technology solutions to clients around the world. So does this mean that this is an ‘official’ publication of Accenture Technology in the Philippines? Not really. Just to get this out of the way, here’s a standard disclaimer:

The views expressed here are those of the contributors and don’t necessarily reflect those of Accenture

The content that will be published in this blog will focus purely on sharing our learnings as designers and developers about the tech that we build and how we build them. As a global company we’ve worked with teams and clients from all over the world and we think that we have some insights that we can share from our different adventures. We’re not however, going to talk about our clients or any work specifically done for them.

We’re also a pretty diverse group of people with diverse experiences, expertise and interests. Our team includes kids barely out of university to 20 years veterans of the technology industry. We’ve had roles experience designers, 3D artists, game developers, full-stack developers, product owners and technical architects. So I think this team can talk about quite a few topics and share some interesting perspectives.

So welcome to this page and hopefully you find what we write about useful. Enjoy your stay.
