Strengthen Leadership qualities

Ravana took away the territory of Lanka from his sibling Kubera. Lanka grew wealthy and flourishing under his jurisdiction. He was magnificent King and the people of Lanka embraced him. Lanka, also known as Goldmine coz every home had Gold under Ravana’s government. He was a prominent politician and leader. Accordingly, it’s a model for everyone that a character with leadership traits can reach elevated heights. Also Lord Rama sent Lakshman to study diplomacies from dying Ravana.

Love your family

Although Ravana was wrong in kidnaping Sita, it was for the respect of his sis. Lakshmana intersected Surpanakha’s nose & humiliated her. So Lankapati kidnaped Sita to seek retaliation from Ram. No one can warrant abduction coz it’s a sin. But one should learn a sound quality of embracing your family absolutely.

Perform your obligation honestly

Lankapati was honest towards his commitment or karma. He, being Brahmana offers yajna for Rama’s setu (bridge) to Lanka coz there was no Brahmana nearby. Also, He blessed Lord Ram in his fight against him. Accordingly, learn to do obligation honestly without any dishonesty. Forever be true to your duty.

Devote yourself towards your aim

Lankapati was a prominent adherent of Lord Shiva. He did repentance for several years to please lord Shiva. Also, He cut his head to prove his dedication to Lord Shiva, however Lord Shiva gave back his head everytime. Hence, acquire this teaching from Ravana and commit yourself to your aim coz determination and hardwork forever pays.

Beware of Ego

The basis for Lankapati’s defeat was his pride and Ego. He displayed pride of his accomplishments and considered himself unconquerable. His egotism made him kidnap Sita for vengeance, and ultimately, Lord Rama destroys Ravana. So, remove your ego to experience a fulfilling and joyful life. Be a downtoearth human being and persist in learning from blunders of life.
