Upfront, I am not a Christian. I accept evolution. The purpose of this article is to rebuff the apologetics put forth by moderate Christians who also accept evolution, but contend that it is either metaphorically expressed in scripture or at least that the creationist perspective is not what the authors of scripture intended to convey.
