Islam is the second-largest religion in the world. There are estimated to be 1.8 billion Muslims in the world. It is the world’s fastest-growing religion. But why is that? Why Islam is growing rapidly?

According to Pew Research Center, in 2010, there were about 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, the second-largest religious group after Christianity. It is estimated that these numbers will grow and in the second half of this century, Islam would be the largest religion in the world.

Pew Research Center has estimated that by 2050, the global Muslim population will increase from 1.8 billion to 2.76 billion, making 29.7% of the world’s total population.

In 2010, 0.9% of the US population were Muslims. But recent studies suggest that by 2050, these numbers will double and 2.1% US population will be Muslims.
