How do we heal hate.

How do we live in these times, these times that will surely define us, and reconcile with what has always been broken and is breaking.

How do recognize and call into light what has been stirring under the surfaces of society and render it defenseless against.

How do we remain who we are when humanity is being threatened, beaten, murdered, stripped of their skin and bones until they are just words, names to blame, hate, cast all wrong and hardship onto.

How do we proceed. How shall we.

— -
I know that many of us want to turn away, block it all out, humm as loud as we can, tune out the noise, and walk into the sun. But remember that history will remember us all. This is all our loss, our pain, our problem. When we pretend that an attack on humanity is isolated from us, that it’s not our issue, we become a part of what’s wrong. When we’re separated, we’re isolated, apathetic or scared. But together, we are stronger. We pray harder, love deeper. We rise higher, we rise above.

How do we heal hate.
