It is not on you to make it “easier” for them to resist violating you. It has nothing to do with what you look like. It has everything to do with overpowering you. Keep the power you can. You deserve power over your body. There is no one to be considerate about concerning your body but you.
Why Erykah Badu’s Opinion Is Dangerous

I agree wholeheartedly. You see the problem is when we fall into these notions we have given the male species license to be their basest selves and not calling them to be men, who are responsible and moral. It comes down to doing what is right. Fathers and mothers must teach their boys to respect girls and themselves. When they act like learing wolves they are also harming themselves and making them less than, not what they should be. This is a hard thing to do especially when so any dad’s, like yours, teach their sons to be those predators. These boys then make it hard for other boys who are taught correctly. I know how this society tears at young men and boys, being a Grandmother of two great Afro American males. One in college and one just eight that is being told that there are colors that boys shouldn’t like. You see the tragedies start as soon as those first social interactions begin.

I just say parents look at what we are doing to our children. It’s time to erase those sexist and harmful ideas we are instill in our children. It is time we all come into the 21st century and be enlightened human beings.
