My mother imparted as much wisdom as she thought I could retain, and of course she had a can-do anything approach and my cup wasn’t thought capable of overflowing, so….my gregarious appetite for knowledge was well nourished. When the elders and my sister were tired of answering my questions I was led to the library, where I got my first library card at age 5 — the digestion of books continued…

Mom’s Rule #1

Don’t do (consume) anything you wouldn’t want your nephew to do…

Mom’s Rule #2

If you are going to take a risk, where’s the bankable outcomes?

Mom’s Rule #3

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should…

Mom’s Rule #4

What’s good for you may not be good to you and what’s good to you may not be good for you…

Mom’s Rule #5/Grandmom’s Rule #1

Roll your eyes at me and I will slap the black off of your backsides!

As I look back, to see what’s coming forward I hold true to insert the following “clip” into my evolving daily mantras…

…since I would, I should I could have…I didn’t, so pass the plate and keep it moving!
