Who said there is no excitement after 50?

I want to tell them that they’re completely wrong. How do I know? I had the honor of spending an afternoon with these lovely ladies of the Red Hat Society in NYC this past weekend.

If you haven’t heard of the Red Hat Society, it is a nationwide group for ladies over 50. Its sole purpose is to provide a place where women don purple dresses and red hats, meet, enjoy each other’s company and have fun. The beautiful part? It isn’t limited to women over 50 — younger women can participate, too, but they must adhere to the rules… lavender and pink only! This joyous group welcomes women of all ages.
