Too much focus on the hue of it has given the shareholders of the crops a weapon to demonize Black beauty…It’s worked a job on the self esteem of generations of our people.
…now in the post Y2K landscapes, we can truly say it LOUD and be PROUD of BLACKNESS…after all, “the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice!”
May the back-washes of life catch up with our spirits and and allow cultural consciousness to surpass cultural competence, as a yardstick of class.
