She
She woke up happy that day.
She loved her work, her colleagues, her job.
Those days were always great there. They were all friends, working together, having lunch together, going out for a beer or for a party together.
She was very happy about her relationship with a specific colleague. It was not a serious relationship, she has just got out of a traumatizing and abusive marriage, so she wanted something simple, she just wanted to have fun. They had a deal about that, and no one should know about it.
Those days were great.
Until that day.
Someone found out about the relationship.
Things started to change from that day on. But only for her. Oh, yes, she was the only woman on that team.
They started to avoid her. They started to talk about her behind her back. Things at work started to go bad for her. They even had a company meeting to talk about general stuff, but, at some point, all of them started to point at her and criticize her job. Only her job. Only her.
And the colleague who she had a relationship with? For him nothing has changed. He still had all the friends, he still had a great place to work, he still could do his job in peace, without any judgment.
So she did the only thing she could do at that point, she started to look for a new job. Yes, she had to leave the company, because working there turned out horrible.
Fortunately, she got a better job at another company.
But for a long time after that she thought that everything that happened was completely her fault.
