“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. It’s the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead

Sadly our patriartrical societies have allowed men to use their inherent physical prowess to assume leadership at home, in sports, in business and in the pulpits…indeed a sad moment when a husband needs reminding that the guider of the home is the wife.

As some indigenous tribes had 4 genders, I think we have limited our lenses by noting men as “xy” and women as “xx.”

I have come to accept 5 chromosomal slots, as the “additional” 3 deal with sensibilities, e.g., personalities, etc. Thus a “man” might be a XYxxx, XYyyx or the myriad of combinations, as a “woman” might be a XXyyy, XXxxx, XXyxy, XXxyy or….

With the five chromosomal levers in place, we might better understand the 21st century wave of “how do identify” being on contemporary applications that entail engagement with others.

I have also come to accept the reality of past life journeys, as I am sure to have been your mother and you my father — regardless of your current interpretation of your epidermal features.

So…since there is “Venus” energy in all of us, why are we so intent on allowing male ego constructs to denigrate the mothers and women of the world, when mothers are the root from which we all emanate?

I would like to proclaim every day as “Mother’s Day” and gratefully bow before you all….Thank You!
