Calendars is a feature that was our most requested addition from day one. Being able to see who booked, when, and with which listing is very important. Being able to see that data for all of your listings at once in one simple view? Powerful.

There are two main views in the calendar. The daily view (as seen in the headline image of this post) shows both programs and spaces. Spaces will display green when you have your availability set for. That way if someone asks you, its a simple and quick answer. You can even export that availability view and show it on your own website. But more on that later.

Space calendars also show times and individuals who book at those times. That way you know which groups to expect at what time and you can be prepared for them. Clicking on the event even gives you a link right to your conversation with the renter just in case you forget the details.

Programs in the daily view show sessions and the amount of tickets sold for each session. You will see something like “Session name (3/10 available)” at the time of hosting. You can easily see how many tickets are available in case you have someone hoping to buy some new ones.

Lastly, there is the most important calendar…yours! Every place or program that you book as a renter or ticket holder will be displayed on its own calendar. You can rent once or 100 times and all of the events will show on your schedule.

Monthly views have a quick overview of all calendars as well. Sometimes you don’t have that much going on, and then its easy to see that you only have “3pm-4pm Renter X” on the schedule. No need to jump into the daily view. This view also displays the same program data that is available in the daily view. The only thing the daily view has that the monthly does not is the green availability areas. An example of this view can be seen below.

Below the calendar there is a list of all your calendars with their color key so you can easily tell which calendar belongs to which listing. From there you can also toggle if the calendars are displayed at all. By clicking on each individual calendar you can show/hide each calendar in order to better focus on a single calendar or a group of your choosing.

Exporting calendars is also an option. If you want to show on your calendar app or website when your space is available, you can! Simply click the export button at the bottom of the page and cut and paste the calendar URLs into your own app to subscribe to them. Space and program listings will never include any data about your renters. Data privacy is very important to us at Athleticalendar. Therefore, only the times that spaces are available will be displayed and only the amount of session tickets available will be displayed for exported calendars. Any user data must be viewed from a logged in Athleticalendar user.

We love our calendar feature and we hope you do too. We are always adding new features and plan on constantly making it more useful for all of our users. If you have a comment or suggestion for the future, leave it here and we will be sure to take your feedback into account for our next feature set.
