Yesterday, Nvidia accepted our application into its inception program. NVidia has done an excellent pivot from a graphics company to an AI company and its GPUs are the defacto standards for AI practitioners. What we like about the inception program is that it is not like most large company accelerator programs that create a batch, have a standard playbook and then a graduation. This actually gives a good connect into the Nvidia engineering team so that one can leverage their hardware in the best possible way on an on-going basis.

There is a network dimension to it too where necessary connects with other players in ecosystem happens but we are more excited about getting our hands on some hardware and optimising algorithms for performance at this stage. Speed is important for everyone but in an autonomous vehicle, it is a mandatory feature. An excellent road scene segmentation algorithm that takes 1 second is no use. If we can take it to 20ms taking advantage of CUDA and frameworks like TensorRT, then we are suddenly in business.

Excited.
