The past few days have been intense for the team, however we are pleased to announce that the Atlas Blockchain (MainNet) is now live! As ATLAS moves towards in creating a sustainable platform for freelancing, the launch of our blockchain marks the next step in achieving that goal: community driven testing of the infrastructure that will eventually support the platform. The deployment of the Blockchain is aimed to attract early adopters who wish to contribute in growing Atlas’ network.
Over the coming months the ATLAS aims to scale its platform to create a rich ecosystem for completing work, populated globally with freelancers and job-posters. In addition to an early distribution of the initial supply of WORK coins, the private investment provides the platform with a capital source to invest in platform growth. This growth, however, is not sustainable if the core functions of the platform are lacking. The launch of the MainNet allows for the network on which ATLAS is built to be verified by the community which will in turn, secure the road ahead.
The WORK coin and ATLAS blockchain are intrinsic functions of the platform and through this early engagement, in terms of transactions and mining, ATLAS is able to establish a step by step approach in making the platform user ready. This step by step strategy is currently centred on the testing of the core infrastructure of the platform before its full utilization.
