Zanadu/Atlas CEO Zan Wu invited to speak at CLSA JAPAN forum 2019

As Japan enters the new Reiwa (令和) era, the 15th CLSA Japan Forum opened in Tokyo on 21 May 2019. More than 420 institutional investors traveled from 20 countries to listen to globally acclaimed opinion formers and meet 170 leading listed corporations. Over four days, world-leading experts, Japanese corporates and CLSA’s award-winning analysts will present actionable ideas in sectors and themes that matter to institutional investors including: consumer, gaming and tourism; reform, corporate governance and shareholder activism; technology and innovation; finance and strategy; automotive and real estate.

As the founder and CEO of Zanadu and Atlas — a blockchain platform for the travel industry, Zan Wu is also invited to speak at the event. During Zan’s speech, he introduced Atlas and its travel ecosystem built on blockchain: “The travel industry is one of the biggest and most centralized industries in the world, monopolized currently by big internet platforms and profiting by exploiting users and their data. Atlas aims to connect all consumers and suppliers in the travel industry to a decentralized market place that incentivizes content creation, transactions, and consent-based data-sharing, ultimately contributing towards invigorating the entire value chain in the travel industry through a transparent and fairer ecosystem with token economy.”

Zan went onto the relationship between Zanadu and Atlas: ”Atlas has benefited from the existing connections and relationship within the travel industry from Zanadu the leading luxury travel company in china established by the same team. And Atlas has now integrated 7 GDS and channel management system such as Sabre, Synix and Siteminder etc.”
