Community Update #16
Greetings, citizens.
The comic series will continue to reveal the story of Planet Atmos and some of its inhabitants. In conjunction with the comic release, we also shared an animation teaser, played some games, and began introducing more of the team behind the scenes.
The Race For Planet Atmos Has Begun
After much anticipation, we released the Digital Collector’s Edition of the first chapter of our first comic, Exordium, introducing the world of Atmos and ExoGP through the violent and chaotic life of its star character, Addy Aker. Indoctrinated from birth by an off-world renegade death cult, Addy has escaped her blood-soaked destiny and fled to Planet Atmos. Seeking to survive on this strange, new world, she has sold her deadly talents to the Talon Gar, Planet Atmos’s preeminent criminal organization, and is about to embark on a planetside heist that will change her life forever.
Following a free allowlist campaign on premint.xyz and an airdrop to all of our MKIV Datacard holders, we officially released the Digital Collector’s Edition of Atmos: Exordium Chapter 01 into the ether on October 7th. The comic was written and created by a handful of talented authors and artists, including Dylan Bushnell, Rob McEveety, Andrea Cucchi, and Giovanna Niro under the direction and scrutiny of industry legend Tommy Lee Edwards. The nine-chapter series will continue to outline the story of Atmos while highlighting some of its most intriguing inhabitants.
You can now pre-order the Standard Digital Edition of Exordium Chapter 01 on Amazon where it will be released on October 17th. If you prefer to use another digital reader site, such as Kobo, Exordium will be available there very soon as well.
Animated Atmos
In conjunction with the release of the comic, we saw an animated look at Addy Aker and the clouds of Planet Atmos in the comic teaser video that went out this week. Tommy Lee Edwards and our incredible team of artists and animators give a taste of what’s to come in Exordium and on Planet Atmos in this visually stunning animated clip.
The Games We Play
We held our first community member game night in the Planet Atmos Discord. Several Atmos Labs Team Members joined fellow Atmosians for an exciting game of the recently released Gundam Evolution. We had a lot of fun and look forward to hosting more community game nights similar to this one in the future. Have a game you’d love to play with us? Hello, World
We began peeling back the curtains at Atmos Labs to introduce more of the Team behind the scenes. In a new series called Atmos: Origins we interviewed Founder & CEO Kevin Beauregard who shared more about his background as a hockey player and blockchain enthusiast, the vision behind Metaverse Native Sports, and how and why he took on the task of building the world of Planet Atmos.

Our volunteer mods have been doing such an amazing job and we want to feature them all for this week’s highlight. Our sincere gratitude goes out to K8, 原来是你, & Oleg for their efforts in building this community with us and keeping everyone well informed.
Additionally, although they are not part of the mod team at this time, we also want to appreciate Rehe for doing a lot of the same for us and the community. Thank you Rehe for your translations and overall engagement and enthusiasm. And thank you once again to all of our community members for, without you, we have no one to build for or with.
