Atra releases the ability to create environments within their platform, making it easier to organize your development projects

Feeling bogged down by all of those dTables and Triggers you don’t use? Want to organize your workflow by project? Now you can!

This week, Atra released the ability to create new work environments within your platform instance. Creating a new environment allows you to start a fresh new instance of the console, making it easier to organize your workflow by project.

In up and coming releases, you will be able to choose a Development Environment (test-net), or a Production Environment (main-net). Yes — main net!

Step 1: In your existing account, you will see you are defaulted to the Default Environment where anything that you have built up to this point currently lives.

You will see your environment and environment state in the upper left-hand corner

Step 2: To create a new environment, click on “Default Environment” in the top left-hand corner, and click “Add Environment”.

All your environments will be visible from this dropdown

Step 3: Name your new environment. For now, the only option you have is to make a Development (test-net) environment. Eventually, you will see Production (main-net).

Environments are great for separating projects

Step 4: Now you will be on your new environment. To navigate to an existing environment, or create another new one, head back to that dropdown.

Environment contents are specific to that environment — you won’t see dTables from My First dApp in the Supply Chain Tutorial dApp environment.

Start using environments today at console.atra.io.

Look out for the main-net release!
