Welcome to another episode of our AMA series. Today we are glad to tell you about the AMA session with our friends from ATTA, a blockchain-based content creator for premium copyright assets. The AMA took place on June 21 and our guest was Meina Zhou, head of Business Development at ATTA.

Meina Zhou: Hi everyone, my name is Meina Zhou. I have been an activist in the crypto and NFT space and have been an insider in the art and fashion industries for years. I’m the Head of Business Development at ATTA. I’m honored to be here today to introduce ATTA to you!

Meina Zhou: yeah. Let me give you a brief introduction about ATTA.
ATTA is a blockchain-based content creator for premium copyright assets and has joined Binance NFT 100 Creators. By focusing on music, movie, esports and celebrity IPs, ATTA aims to secure, produce, and distribute best-in-class digital and physical assets to collectors worldwide. Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: How long does it take to develop a project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from ATTA?
Meina Zhou: before we go into the next question, let me talk a bit more about the development progress?
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: These are very famous names. and they show that you are a serious player in this market.
Meina Zhou: Here’s a brief history of our development. Our team started from BAZHUAYU, a blockchain-based platform aiming to realize the full potential of the fan economy and has strong resources and profound industry experience in the entertainment industry.
We had our debut in March with Poison App, the largest platform for designer toys and fashion in China. The product sold was called Niu.X, a limited edition NFT collectible collaborated with famous Chinese actress Raquel Xu. This physical product is highly valuable in terms of the production process and design concept. At the same time, we imbedded a chip inside the toy where buyers and scan and receive an NFT to ensure the authenticity of each piece.

Niu.X was sold out within a couple of hours after its successful launch on Poison. During the sales period, our social media platforms such as Weibo and WeChat had over 50,000 followers. Raquel also made a video herself to promote the sales, which had over 3 million views. With the outstanding sales performance, top-tier assets, and production capabilities, we were able to earn the favor of renowned institutions and investors in the industry, including Altonomy and Bounce Finance, etc.
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: To be honest, I saw it on Twitter and I can’t stop looking at it.
Meina Zhou: Yes, the toy was delicately designed and manufactured.
Following Niu.X’s successful launch, we launched our first batch of pure digital assets in May, releasing four music NFTs by rock band Tang Dynasty’s lead singer, Ding Wu. Among the four, the International Remix with edition 0 was auctioned on BAZHUAYU’s platform with starting price of 3,000U and ended at 22,000U.
There are several big news I wanted to share.
1.We recently announced that we had joined Binance NFT 100 Creators with Musician & Artist Ding Wu and ATTA Musicians O2. 100 Creators are handpicked by Binance’s team, and we are very proud to become the first batch of creators on Binance NFT. Meina Zhou: We wanted to attract users from both the crypto world and real world (for example, the fans for those famous creators). At ATTA, we specialize in NFT contents, including Music, Movies/Tv shows/E-sports/Celebrities/Charity, etc.

ATTA has great allies with leading platforms and a very interesting proposal, but I think there is still a lot of information to be published and I don’t see a whitepaper available, where are the technical details of the platform? such as security, economic model, rewards distribution system and incentivations? Do you have docs available?
Meina Zhou: For ATTA, we have not released any tokens yet. We will definitely publish the whitepaper before releasing our token. If ATTA issues its token in the future, all holders of ATTA-produced NFTs (including airdrops) will receive tiered benefits. Certain holders of ATTA NFTs will even receive priority subscription rights of the ATTA token.

Meina Zhou: We wanted to lay a steady foundation for our project first.
Mary | Satoshi Club: What about platform security? Is it safe?
Meina Zhou: Yes, of course! We have a dedicated technical team that focused on developing and manning the platform. Platform security is definitely one of our first priorities.
For our partners, they will regularly conduct co-marketing activities with us. Both our partners and us will share the collaborations on our social medias. Additionally, we will host special events with each partner (for example, airdrops, mysterious gifts, special benefits from different platforms) to attract more users. From the content creator side, we will work with them to design the best NFT benefits so that their followers and fans will enjoy those NFT benefits.

Meina Zhou: For the token, as I mentioned before. We have not released any kind of tokens. But I can tell you, very likely, we will launch a token for ATTA.
If ATTA issues its token in the future, all holders of ATTA-produced NFTs (including airdrops) will receive tiered benefits. Certain holders of ATTA NFTs will even receive priority subscription rights of the ATTA token. We would like to build a solid foundation for our user base as well as our Utility NFT.
ATTA NFT Utility
As the support of Utility NFT, ATTA will open an “NFT Benefits Redeem Store” for each IP. You can’t shop in the store but only redeem the IP’s rights and benefits through related NFT products produced by ATTA. So be sure to hold the NFT of your favorite IP.
Imagine your favorite streamer invites you to play a LOL game together during the streaming or share something special with you ONLY. You will be able to vote to decide what benefits to be included with ATTA NFT — we could own any benefits that you could imagine through NFT.
ATTA NFTs will not only be collectibles but also utilities.

Meina Zhou: ATTA is not a platform. It is an NFT brand, focusing on content creation. Bazhuayu is the NFT distribution platform.

What other types of NFTs are allowed for content in ATTA? For uploading an NFT, what processes will the NFT Proposal undergo to be verified? How long will the process take place? Are the users enabled to have the right to set price to their own NFTs like the way they have the copyrights to the content? In every NFT sold, do ATTA take a percentage as commissions? or 100% of the payment will go to the rightful owner? Thank you!
Meina Zhou: Other types of NFTs: collaboration with fashion brands, fashion toys, trending concept. I think the answer is: the limitation is your imagination.

Timeline: depends on the artworks. usually it takes at least one month to work with the content creation team to finalize the NFT.

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: We understand that you are targeting the Chinese market. Are there any plans for expansion in other countries?
Meina Zhou: not for now…it will be commission based. we do not charge listing fees.
The reason why that we are targeting the Chinese market is because our CEO has very deep connections with the celebrities & IPs in the Chinese market. So organically, we are able to attract tons of Chinese users (simply the large fan base for those IPs).

Tell us about how the content with which you create nft is stored. For example, let’s take a music track. When creating nft, this track remains on your server, or the nft you create is completely stored on the blockchain? Or do you use IPFS to store media for your tokens?
Meina Zhou: I have to be honest, I need to check with the technical team for the answer. From what I remember, we use IPFS. But I could be wrong. I will double check with the team to get the answer.

Meina Zhou: The Niu.X (our collaboration with RaquelXu) was sold out within a couple of hours after its successful launch on Poison several months ago. For future limited edition NFT, please follow our social medias. The actress or actor will also be announced in our social media. We have just announced our partnership with Tyloo.

It seems most of your current NFT content providers like musicians and artists are all Asian based. What is ATTA’s short and long term expansion plans, should we expect collaborations from content creators in other regions of the world?
Meina Zhou: Yes. As I mentioned before, our CEO has very deep connections with artists and celebrities in the Chinese market. We have also talked with some famous artist in other regions of the world. So we are definitely looking for expansion. We do believe that building the project steadily is the key.

Can you tell us about your superior features that can give ATTA a competitive advantage against your strong competitors, who constantly renew and update themselves and influence users with new products?
Meina Zhou: We are supporters of utility NFT, as we think NFT has evolved and pure social NFT projects like APE or Crypto Punk are hard to develop anymore. You need to focus more on the utilities of NFT from now on.
A key to Utility NFT is the scale of the rewards provided. We believe you not only need to link the real world, but also converge the physical and the digital, to make it a two-way interaction. For example, NBA Topshot, a great project, but more focused on one-way connection, from the real world to the digital. That’s why their trading volume depreciated significantly.
ATTA is trying to create a NFT brand that links the real world, a convergence of the physical and the digital, a two-direction door to the metaverse. This is our key differentiator — not just digitalize assets from the real world, but also bring digital to the real world.

It is worrying the number of projects that fail to progress, what plans do you have for achieving it? How do they show their confidence?
Meina Zhou: I have full confidence in ATTA as we are very serious about building our project steadily. This is also the reason why we are not rushing releasing any tokens. We definitely wanted to make sure that our NFTs have true utility (the utility NFT concept I have mentioned several times.) After the official launch on Binance NFT on 6/24, we’ll also collaborate with Binance NFT to bring more best-in-class IPs in the form of premium events or blind boxes, covering areas such as E-Sports, Charity, etc. We’ll release more details and announce more partnerships in the near future.

Don’t you think that “Entering to crypto world in this bear season as a big challenge”? Because we know that surviving a new crypto project in bear season is very difficult. Do you have enough strength to face this and success?
Meina Zhou: Right now the market sentiment is very volatile. However, I am firm believer in the NFT market. I do think the NFT market will continue to flourish in the future.
On the other side, as I mentioned it again and again. The way we built ATTA is with diligence and persistence. We not only have a strong team but also have the strength of the connections with premium artists in the Chinese market. Those advantages will help us to grow and maintain our market share in the long term. (Most of our collaborations are exclusive)
