Soon to Be Released Final Episode, MAPPA Prepares to Leave Attack on Titan
The ending of AoT is not what many fans expected.
The final episode of the anime Attack on Titan (AoT) is set to be released on November 4, 2023, as reported by ComicBook on Friday, October 27, 2023.
The second part of the Final Season, Part 3, was released after the previous episodes were aired in March 2023. Studio MAPPA, which has been working on this series, is preparing to leave AoT after its initial appearance in 2013.
With just about a week left until November 4, one of the most brutal anime series is reaching the conclusion of Eren Yeager's story. The series is counting down to the final battle between the Scout Regiment and Eren Yeager.
So far, many fans are wondering about the ending of this series and whether the anime version will be the same as the manga version written by Hajime Isayama.
The reason for this uncertainty is that when the final chapter of the AoT manga appeared in April 2021, it caused controversy among fans. This was due to the fact that the ending of AoT was not what many fans of Isayama's work had expected.
In the previous episode, the Survey Corps or Scout Regiment was in the midst of mourning the loss of one of their comrades, Hange. Hange gave their friends time by sacrificing themselves to confront Eren, who had gained the power of the Founding Titan.
Fortunately, Hange's sacrifice paid off as the Scout Regiment managed to reach Eren in his titan form. However, they still could not stop the widespread destruction caused by the Colossal Titan controlled by Eren through the "rumbling."
This resulted in a significant portion of the world's population being annihilated as part of Eren's plan. The Scout Regiment is now fighting to save the remaining population.
Behind the scenes, the creator Hajime Isayama mentioned that there would be no official sequel to Attack on Titan after the airing of the final episode. However, Isayama has confirmed that he will create a new story focused on Captain Levi's past.
As of now, Isayama has not provided details about this new story. To find out what the future holds for this anime series, don't forget to tune in on November 4.
