This upcoming Friday, July 6th from 12:00 to 12:30 EST, #AtTheTable is hosting its first ever Twitter Chat!
Sounds fun, doesn’t it? But what exactly does it mean? It’s simple! A Twitter Chat is an event designed to get people together at a predetermined time to talk about a particular subject, using a hashtag — in our case, #AtTheTable — to connect all the tiny pieces of the conversation. When it comes to bringing together a large group of diverse individuals from all over the world, there’s few things better than social media, and that’s why we at #AtTheTable are so pumped!
Every great Twitter Chat starts out with an even better topic, and we’re over the moon about ours: being a female founder. #AtTheTable has connected so many ambitious and amazing women for dinners in Boston, NYC, Miami, and San Francisco, and now — with a Twitter List of over 70 female founders, check it out here: https://twitter.com/atthetablehq/lists/all-female-founders — we get to build this connection even further!
Every woman who’s a part of #AtTheTable has her own unique experiences regarding the creation and development of her business, and by asking a series of focused questions we’re hoping to prompt a meaningful discussion on what being a female founder is really like. The more women we have participating, the more perspectives we’ll get, and the more fun we’ll all have! Like our dinners, this is a chance for us female founders to really learn from each other, but to do so on an even broader scale. Can you blame us for being excited?
