For the past three years I have learned so much about the startup ecosystem. Some things have been great, while other things terribly disheartening. Nonetheless, I have always been focused on creating the change I want to see in the world, hence why partnering with Beth Santos on At The Table made sense in 2018.

In 2019, we plan to make sure celebrating female founders happen year round. We will be increasing the amount of dinners we execute starting this May from 1 dinner to 4 dinners per month. It is really important to us to build a community, not just a program for #femalefounders.

Our goal is to make connections happen at least 1,000 times this year. We are excited that we were able to touch so many last year in 5 cities, but this year we are doubling down to make Massachusetts the top state for #femalefounders. Our plan is simple:

  • Accept MORE applications
  • Curate MORE dinners
  • Make a BIGGER impact

In the upcoming months, we are pushing forward with a few initiatives that we are excited about that include: dinner, family friendly activities and research projects. We believe as #femalefounders ourselves we will be the driving force to solve the problem for #femalefounders to connect more and build larger companies. In Massachusetts we have identified FOUR locations for us to launch our dinners (more on this in MAY)

Lastly, it is with great excitement that we announce that the 2nd Female Founders Day is December 12, 2019 and we are taking that initiative global with some great partners. Please stay up to date and join us at the largest dinner focused on #femalefounders at this link.

As always, if you know a #femalefounder that should join us have them apply at atthetable.io and reach out to join us as we transform the startup ecosystem with dinner.
