Since we enjoy trying out different FinTech solutions, we created a list of what we liked about the solutions and the referrals which are available.

We like Revolut for:

1. The FX rates: Good spread.
2. The functionality to auto exchange at a certain rate (limit order): Great for volatile markets (aka Brexit).
3. Multi-Currency: Great for those who travel a lot.
4. Virtual Cards: Great for online purchases and issuing cards quickly.

We like Curve for:

1. One Card: For those of you who carry a lot of cards (especially if you have a business account).
2. Quick integration to foreign credit and debit cards: For those who don’t like the FX rates on their foreign credit and debit cards, Curve can integrate to cards in 27 different currencies (Including JPY). It’s a good quick solution for those new to the UK (working holidays, students) and waiting for a bank account to be created or money to be transferred to the bank account.
3. Go back in Time functionality to move the payment from one card to another: This is super useful if you want to change payments for personal to business expenses.

Monzo

We like Monzo for:

1. Earning Interest: Quick setup to Interest Rate Savings between 1% to 1.25% by a third party.
2. Scheduled Payment: A notification a day before for scheduled payments and if there’s enough money to cover for the payment.
3. FSCS Deposit Protection: Money is fully protected up to £85,000 by the FSCS.

From 11th September Monzo are stopping referrals.
