Ignat Traykov says his worst nightmare is dying without accomplishing anything significant in life.

He is a freshman second semester in AUBG at the age of 21. Born in Kazanlak, Ignat has spent his entire life in the city of Ruse, which is in northern Bulgaria. He is the single child in a family that he describes as “normal”. Some of his biggest passions are video games, football and history.

Ignat is a very ambitious and determined young person who however has faced some big challenges in life. When asked with the question why a freshman at his age he says:

“Well, life is pretty interesting sometimes as things turn out the way you want them to turn out, sometimes however they take a 180 degree turn and they turn not as you expected them to turn.”

Despite having skipped almost two years in his college education, he says that AUBG has always been a dream of his. “When you face some setbacks that doesn’t mean you have to just give up on your dreams.”

He says he would like to one day work in the IT sphere, not as a programmer however. That is also the reason why he chose to study business administration and informational systems as his two majors. About his future plans he says that he would prefer entering the marketing department of an IT company or as he says with a smile on his face become a video game tester. “That is my dream job, that’s a job that wouldn’t actually matter how much I get paid, I would still do it.”

AUBG is the place he chose to get his bachelors degree because it is the only institution in Bulgaria that can provide him with an adequate education and diploma as he really wanted to stay in his home country.

About his biggest dream he says in a sincerely modest way that he prefers not to make big predictions. “Things may be very different 10 years from nowadays, and I don’t think it would be realistic if I have to define what my biggest dream is.”
