Radoslav Naydenov
Radoslav Naydenov is a freshman at AUBG and calls himself a big petrolhead.
“The name speaks for itself. It is all about tech and last but not least, sports,” he says.
Radoslav is 19 years old and originally from Sopot, a small town in Bulgaria, which is situated 60 kilometers away from Plovdiv.
Being an only child, he has always wanted to have a brother or a sister. It brings him happiness when he is around children and plays with them. “The other day, while I was working out, there were two children playing around. I decided to suggest them to make a small competition and run together. They were so happy and that made me smile.”
Apart from kids, Radoslav’s other big love that holds a special place in his heart is sport. He tries to work out every day. A fact about him is that he has a mark from every sport that he has played. “Whenever I tried to do something new, I would get a scar,” he says.
Radoslav finds pleasure in driving and cannot describe the feeling with just one word. He does not have a favorite destination but he knows for sure that he wants to travel by a car somewhere. “I am into road trips because I get the chance to be the driver. I like roads that are alongside the mountains because of the amazing view I get to see. I love when I feel small compared to the view in front of me.”
When it comes to motivation, he does not have a role model but he is inspired by the people around him. “I don’t like to stay behind; I try to keep up with everybody as much as I can,” he admits. “I would like to risk more and be a person who does not stay in his comfort zone.”
In regard to academic activities, he is a member of one of the biggest clubs in the university -Olympics. For him, it is the greatest experience that has ever happened to him. “There are so many wonderful people in the club. We are more like a family because we are so close to each other,” he says.
