We(Auctionlance Platform) are absolutely glad to announce to you all that the most awaited launch of our web app is now live on a beta release!
A brief on what Auctionlance is again 😃
Auctionlance is a P2P freelance marketplace built on the Waves blockchain. Easily find web designers, graphic designers, programmers, developers, writers, editors and lots more.
So basically we are connecting clients to skilled freelancers while harnessing the decentralization power of the Blockchain as provided by Waves Platform
What to expect in this beta
Below are what you can expect with this beta release:
- Auctionlance can now be accessed via https://beta.auctionlance.com
- A full dApp(Oh yeah you heard that right). Auctionlance is a full dApp on the Waves Platform blockchain written in RIDE
- You can sign up as either a client or freelancer and immediate start performing actions that matter to you like Browsing through jobs and bidding on open jobs(freelancer) or creating jobs and hiring freelancers(clients)
How it Works
P.S: Users coming to Auctionlance are either freelancers or clients.
Freelancer = renders services in either one or more categories that Auctionlance supports
Client = has projects requiring freelancers
To get started, you sign up using Waves Keeper or you Sign in if you already have an account. On sign up, you select your user type(freelancer or client)
Create Auctions(client)
As a client, you can create auction listings on Auctionlance which allows freelancers to bid for the said auctioned jobs.
Bid for Jobs (freelancer)
When you sign up as a freelancer on the Auctionlance Platform, you get instant feed on jobs matching your tags which is visible on the jobs section of your auctoboard(our creative term for user dashboard 🙂). Alternatively, you can go to the jobs section and browse open jobs.
Choose a winning freelancer(client)
The client can then accept a particular bid of a freelancer on his auction. In doing so, the client and freelancer are now connected and can communicate on the app all through the duration of the project.
Job Delivery(freelancer)
Once a freelancer is done with a job, all he needs do to deliver the job is to go the job page and click on deliver.
Job Acceptance(client)
Hopefully, as a client, you are satisfied with the job done by the freelancer, you just click the accept button on the job page and the freelancer will be paid for his job from our Smart Escrow automatically.
Conclusion
