Cryptium is moving to Uniswap & onto the Ethereum network
On Friday, 9th July 2021, we will be moving the Cryptium liquidity from 1inch Exchange to Uniswap, so it will no longer be possible to buy/ sell Cryptium on the 1inch Exchange. This implies that Cryptium will no longer be based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Cryptium holders will be automatically airdropped the same quantity of Cryptium previously held on BSC to your wallet address that is also compliant with the ERC20 network.
Why the transition?
- Transaction fees on the Ethereum network have reduced. Although Ethereum fees are still greater than transaction fees of BSC, this transition will improve and simplify the process to buy and sell Cryptium using the Ethereum network.
- Binance has been under attack by regulators in many countries including the UK, Canada, and the US. It has become increasingly more difficult for people to buy BNB, BUSD which are currently needed to buy Cryptium.
- Uniswap has a streamlined swapping process that is very simple, making it possible to buy Cryptium directly with Ethereum which is widely available. Our liquidity will still be based on USD for the time being, however you will be able to buy Cryptium with any token available on the ERC20 network, and Uniswap will automatically convert your token to the appropriate token in order to swap to Cryptium.
Existing Customer will be required to do the following:
- Add the new contract address of Cryptium into Metamask

Additional Information that does not require any action on your part:
All existing owners of Cryptium will be airdropped the same quantity of Cryptium they currently have on the BSC. These original BSC tokens will become worthless as soon as the airdrop is completed. Airdropped token will appear automatically in your wallet, the only thing to do is complete the “Add the new contract address of Cryptium into Metamask” steps described above. At which point your token will be visible.
