Best Settings to Optimize Apex Legends Sound

If you’re an avid gamer, chances are you dabble in some Apex Legends. If you’re wanting to step up your game, or even just try out the game for the first time, you’re going to need to make sure your sound is up to speed. An errant footstep or a missed gunshot can mean the difference between death and victory. Plug It In, Plug It In

Max Out Your SFX

Open Mic Night
Let’s say you’re in a mid-game scuffle. The last thing you want to do is reach for your push-to-talk button on your headphones or desktop to communicate with your teammates. An easy solution to this is to change the mic setting in Apex Legends to “Open.” This will allow your speech to free-flow into your mic. Just make sure you’re not in a noisy environment when selecting this option.

No Sound Whatsoever?
You just might be doing it wrong. It sucks, but try resetting everything. Your computer, Apex Legends, your sound drivers. Apex Legends sets profiles for audio at the beginning of the game, and it might require a total reinstall to enable any changes to your settings. Make Sure Your External Audio Driver is Working

Getting Apex Legends to communicate with your PC’s audio driver and your headphones’ audio driver can be a bit of a struggle. But it doesn’t have to be.
