Smart AND Beautiful — Announcing Aura’s Collaboration with Jonathan Adler
When we first started working on Aura, one of our core goals was to build a beautiful picture frame. Of course, we wanted to perfect the software and create a seamless experience of getting photos back into your life, but we also wanted people to be proud to display the physical frame in their home. Technology can look so uninteresting and sterile — we want to reverse that trend.
I’ve always loved Jonathan Adler’s designs. His work is beautiful, bold, and makes a statement. I’m proud to announce that for the next year, Jonathan will be our Creative Director in Residence. He will be designing two limited edition frames for us, the first of which will be available this October in select Jonathan Adler stores, JonathanAdler.com, and our website.
We’re so thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with Jonathan, someone who shares our unwavering attention to detail. We went through countless iterations on all aspects of the frame: the striking blue color, the gold trim, the iconic Jonathan Adler pattern on the back of the frame, and the co-branded box. We think we’ve created something really special which integrates our advanced software with Jonathan’s unique design perspective. We hope you love it as much as we do.
