New IDEX Trading Rewards (AURA) Airdrop on June 12th

We are excited to announce that new IDEX trading rewards (AURA) will be distributed Tuesday June 12th via airdrop! Tokens will be distributed in batches throughout the day (so please be patient).

For those new to the community — IDEX has a built-in rewards program that grants Aurora’s staking token, AURA, to traders based off their monthly trading volume. The IDEX rewards program is designed to help boost network liquidity by incentivizing trading for both market makers and takers alike. The AURA token itself will be used to secure Aurora’s upcoming, fully-decentralized architecture, as AURA stakers will earn 50% of all fees generated by IDEX and future Aurora products in return for their role in securing this network (similar to how Ethereum miners are rewarded in gas fees).

How to Claim Your IDEX Rewards

If you have earned over $5 worth of AURA rewards during your time trading with IDEX, you will automatically receive your rewards in full via airdrop on June 12th, 2018. No action is necessary, as they will automatically appear in your Ethereum wallet. Those who do not meet the $5 minimum will be able to claim their outstanding rewards once we have implemented our manual reward-claiming functionality.

To be clear — all outstanding monthly rewards for March, April and May (since our last airdrop) will be distributed to users based off their individual monthly trading volume. No action is necessary on your part if you meet the $5 AURA minimum described above. The airdropped AURA will automatically appear in your Ethereum wallet, which will be visible in the “My Wallet Balance” column within the “Full Balances” page on IDEX. How to View Your AURA Tokens

Go to https://etherscan.io and search for your address. You can view your tokens in your account under “Token Balances.”
