- Anthem just celebrated its 7th anniversary. Formed on December 7th, 2013 as MLS in Austin, the SG is responsible for creating and leading the fan movement for bringing an MLS team to town. So if you wanted to know when and where the idea that resulted in Austin FC began — there it is.
