A new Twitter Q&A released by President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary has resulted in outrage, following her avoidance of answering questions about the #loveisnottourism movement.

Just days after holding her first press conference, Joe Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki has received an outpouring of disapproval regarding a recent Q&A she released on Twitter.

The Press Secretary Tweeted:

“Last week I asked you for your questions and you delivered. Answered a bunch here — and looking forward to doing this again soon. SPOILER: Revealing @POTUS‘ favorite ice cream.”

Attached to the Tweet was a video of Psaki answering questions asked of the Biden Administration, in which she discussed her tone, unemployment benefits, the White House cat, Biden’s favourite flavour of ice cream, and his planned protections of DACA.

However, the video was largely drowned out by the absence of Psaki’s avoidance of the outpouring of messages regarding the #loveisnottourism movement, which seeks to reunite binational families and loved ones who are separated due to COVID-19 restrictions.
