New Orleans
There’s just nothing like New Orleans when it comes to a city filled with music, food and language. With strong influence from Latin America and Europe, Orleans is an imagination of culture. Vibrant as ever, the bustling Burbon Street has a makeover, new restaurants, hotels, and additions to the Lafitte Greenway in Mid-city. There’s plenty to sweeten the deal if you’re a foodie in New Orleans.
Columbia
As peace returns from a post-war nation, Columbia is opening up once again. Travellers seeking a true adventure are flocking in, eager to explore the natural wonder and stunning mountain scapes. With more luxurious hotels opening, Colonial buildings and coffee estates are being transformed into luxury spas and escapes. Along the pacific coast you’ll be treated by rainforests and a rainbow covered river, Cano Cristales.
Gānsù Province
Synonymous with the Silk Road, the slender province of Gānsù in China’s west is a real gem. Now accessible by high-speed rail, Gānsù has really opened up in recent years, hosting ancient silk road attractions and the westernmost parts of the Great Wall, built in the Ming Dynasty. Be sure to view the surreal rainbow-stiped mountains in Zhangye Danxia National Geopark.
Estonia
On its 100 year anniversary since the founding, Estonia has plenty to celebrate since the cultural rebirth and newfound confidence with Europe. Tallin, the capital and largest city of Estonia is one of the continents most unique and captivating cities. Southeast of Tallin lies Tartu where you will find the refurbished National Museum, a centrepiece to Estonian history.
Gangwon
A beautiful mountainous province, located in the north east of South Korea is home of the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics. With easy access from Seoul by high-speed train, Gangwon is renown for the adventure seekers for white-water rafting and hiking. Get up close to the DMZ along the north, or relax on the laid-back coastal line towns to the east.
