Malaysia Airlines returns to Brisbane with non-stop flights
Malaysia Airlines is geearing up to resume non-stop flights between Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur from June this year, in an move to reclaim the Queensland tourism market.
The four non-stop flights each week are expected to bring more than 60,000 international visitors to Queensland each year, generating almost $100 million in new spending.

Federal Tourism Minister Steven Ciobo welcomed the new route.
“Malaysia is one of our key international tourism markets, and Malaysian travellers spent $137 million more in Australia in the year to September,” He said.
